13th Annual Construction Safety Day Conference & Expo – Safety at Work | Home | Outdoors

Mid-America OSHA Education Center and the Cincinnati Area OSHA Offices are sponsoring the 13th Annual Construction Safety Conference & Expo on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the Dayton Convention Center.  There will be a CEO event opportunity to meet with Ken Montgomery, our OSHA Area Director.  Special company and employee safety awards will be handed out at the luncheon. 

Safety Professionals, Human Resource Managers, CEOs, Operations Managers, and Field Employees from all trades are encouraged to attend.  All tickets include lunch and free parking. REGISTER HERE TO ATTEND!

Also new this year, Hide-A-Hazard hands on activity with a special door prize for finding the most hazards.

FREE Pre Conference Courses Friday, 2/10/17:  These courses are FREE to those who register for Safety Day.  Note the classes are the Friday before Safety Day at different locations.  Once you register for Safety Day, your confirmation e-mail will include your pre-conference Promo Code.  Then you must go to February 10 on the Mid-America OSHA CALENDAR to register.   Class options are:  Recordkeeping, Accident Investigation, and Safety & Health Management

Twenty different safety and construction related topics will be presented including:  Rigging – Crosby, Excavation/Trenching, Heavy Equipment Safety, Safety Culture, Noise, Company Driver, NFPA 70E, Pre-Task Planning, Safety Communications, Safety Leadership/Conflicts, DP&L Electrical Demo, Crane Signals, Fall Protection, Drug Task Force, Silica, Scaffold, Active Shooter, and Hunter/Gun Safety (for the Great Outdoors portion).
